Blessings Friends,

For the past two Sundays, I have found myself attending two different places of worship. Last week, I was at The Church of England St Crispins, where I participated in both the Sunday and Wednesday services.

On a Wednesday, I offered my services and as part of Asaru homeschooling to help with gardening for them. Gardening is not really my thing, and I don’t have much experience, but I thought it would be a good way to give back. As I have a lovely next door neighbor who kindly takes care of both my front and back garden, so I wanted to contribute in some small way. The father also presented me with opportunities of how I could become a Church of England Minister, which was exciting…

Today I attended a Sunday Feast Programme organized by the International Society for Krishna Consciousness. Although I have never personally taken part in Arati before and had only observed it online, experiencing it in person made me feel as if I were in India.

They had a class led by Janananda Goswami on the topic of Loyalty, followed by a beautiful Kirtan session. During the Kirtan, I felt a deep connection, as if I were in the presence of Swami Kriyananda himself. Afterward, there was a joyful birthday celebration, which was then followed by a generous Prasadam, a delicious Vegetarian Feast. The devotees were kind to me; a devotee even gifted me a lovely garland. I, in turn, offered the garland to my beloved Guru Paramhansa Yogananda….

Janananda Goswami kindly gifted me the Book Bhagavad Gita and personally signed it for me. I shared. with him that my Guru was Paramhansa Yogananda… He said Yogananda and the autiobiograpy of a Yogi and smiled… He said to the devotees that I was a Minister of Truth, which deeply touched me. He also invited and enciuraged me to attend a program led by Keshava Swami that they are having in August . A devotee generously gave me another book called In Essence. Both of these wonderful books are authored by Swami Prabhupada. I feel incredibly grateful to have made meaningful connections with these two spiritual communities and for the friendships I have started to build with them. I feel blessed and fortunate…

I just wanted to share my heartfelt appreciation with all of you.

Blessings & Love
