Abuse Fact Sheet

People should be respected for who they are and the choices they make. People who have experienced abuse find it difficult to make decisions and choices. They need time to explore what it feels like to make choices and decisions for themselves because they have been living there lives for others. Which may take years or even decades. If you know of anyone who has suffered abuse this could be a simple reminder or helpful for family and friends. Who maybe struggling to understand there relative or friends absence or decision to empower themselves from past lived experiences such as abuse or trauma.
