RYV Values & Ethics (Ananda’s 12 Precepts)

Reverend Dinah Pemberton commits herself to the following RYV Values and Ethics (Ananda’s 12 Precepts) “Ananda’s Evening Hospice” below for good working practice and to promote integrity in her work, spiritual practice and personal development as a OneSpirit Minister.

Even though evening office is a preparation for those that are facing Death… I believe these precepts are of value while we are living now.

Values

  • Using Creativity unites us to a creative loving source which empowers and enriches our healing journeys

  • Creativity teaches us to become a channel for transformative learning, honouring and reflection

  • We respect each other’s creativity

  • We maintain a presence of openness and acceptance

  • Healing is our primary focus

  • We support a deeper meaning

  • We create solutions using creativity

  • We value a simple way of living and being

  • We support calmness, peace, and nonviolence

  • Protecting Clarity of the Mind

    Ethics

    Ananda’s 12 Precepts by Swami Kriyananda

  1. to face the past;

  2. to relinquish attachments;

  3. to accept past errors without regret as simple facts, trying to see that it was God, through their imperfect understanding, who did it all;

  4. to release the grip of ego-consciousness;

  5. to release, one by one, every desire and attachment into the Supreme Bliss;

  6. to offer every regret into God’s love and Infinite Consciousness;

  7. to forgive past hurts and betrayals;

  8. to give out universal love to everyone, even to so-called enemies;

  9. to help them see that everyone is motivated, however misguidedly, by the same soul-craving for Satchidananda;

  10. to concentrate on infinity;

  11. to practice devotion;

  12. to learn to overcome fear by realizing that we are not this body.
